Punjab and Sind Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Punjab & Sind Bank invites applications from candidates for the engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. There are 158 openings for this position. Candidates with Any Degree qualification are eligible to apply for the job. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on or before 30 March 2025. Position: Apprentices
Job Location: Across India
Stipend: A monthly stipend of Rs. 9,000/-. No daily allowance/conveyance allowance/conveyance or travelling allowance, etc. will be paid to the Apprentices.
Qualification:
- Regular Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institute or equivalent qualifications recognised by the Central Government.
- The apprentice should be proficient in the local language (Reading, Writing, Speaking & understanding) of the State / UT. The apprentice should produce an 8th/10th/12th or Graduate Level standard mark sheet/certificate evidencing having studied one of the languages as the local language.
- Students who have completed Post Graduate qualifications are not eligible for Apprenticeship training.
- Students with work experience of one year or more are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates should not have completed five years after passing the qualifying examination.
Period of Apprenticeship Training: 12 Months
Age Limit (As on 31 March 2025):
- Minimum 20 years
- Maximum 28 years
Age Relaxation:
- Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST): 5 years of age relaxation.
- Other Backward Classes (OBC – Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years of age relaxation.
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (as defined under “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016”): 10 years of age relaxation.
- Widows, Divorced Women, and Legally Separated Women Who Have Not Remarried:
- Up to the age of 33 years for General/EWS candidates.
- Up to the age of 38 years for OBC candidates.
- Up to the age of 40 years for SC/ST candidates.
- Persons Affected by 1984 Riots: 5 years of age relaxation.

Selection Process:
- Final Selection will be subject to eligibility verification for the post and information furnished in the online application and Merit as per HSC/10+2 marks.
- Candidates have to furnish their selected state and district in the application itself.
- Merit List will be drawn State-wise, District wise and Category wise.
- Candidates that qualify for the minimum eligibility criteria will be placed according to their 10+2 marks in descending order in respective Category, State and District.
- In case more than one candidate scores the same marks as cutoff marks in the merit list, such candidates will be ranked in the Merit List according to their Age in descending order in respective category, state and district
